Ringing is all about team work, so here's a challenge for teams

Explore together a wide range of ringing activities, which at the same time will benefit your ringing. What’s not to like? So why not form a team and have some fun together?

The team challenges are different to those in the individual 50 Ringing Things and are divided into 3 categories:

  • Home – activities for your tower or locality
  • Away – ringing and visits to other places
  • Performance – ringing and activities for your audience

To get started, buy the 50 Ringing Things for Teams book from the ART online shop. The online progress tracker and tips on how to complete the challenges are still under development. We’ll let you know when they are available.

Bronze, Silver and Gold certificates will be awarded for completing 15, 30 or 50 Ringing Things respectively as a team, with your final activity being your team celebration! Team certificates can be claimed by emailing the ART Administrators.

What do team challenges look like?

Organisations such as St. John’s Ambulance and the Red Cross run a variety of certificated courses.

Decide what type of practice will suit the two bands. It could be a general practice, or you might like to focus on a special topic.

Sixty on Thirds is a well-known set of call changes and is the standard test piece for the Devon Association of Ringers annual 6 bell call-change competition.

Connect with others taking the challenge
